Bird's Underwater offers scuba diving and snorkeling tours to
many locations in the Crystal River area.
Our experienced dive instructors would be glad to accompany you on a guided dive to any of the local
sites listed below. All of our inland springs have a combination of open water and cavern diving.
A cavern is defined as an overhead environment in which you do not
lose natural daylight. The sites listed below allow open water divers to enter without special cavern certification.
If there is a possibility of leaving the light zone and entering a cave, such as in Manatee Springs State Park, you will not be allowed to carry a light, which will obviously keep you to the natural daylight zone.
 All
of our guides are Full Cave Certified divers. We are well acquainted with diving in an overhead environment, as we have taught cave diving at our facility
since 1989. Your guide will be wearing appropriate equipment for overhead
diving and carrying the most modern, high intensity discharge lighting where appropriate.
All of dive prices include entrance fees and have
a two person minimum.

$99.50 This beautiful State Park is 50 miles North of Crystal

Ginnie Springs is 65 miles Northeast of Crystal River, about 20

- Paradise Springs - $99.50
Paradise Springs is 40 miles from Crystal River, 10 miles South
of Ocala. They do not have a website, but you can call us
or them for a detailed description. This is a cavern dive,

- Rainbow River - $33.00 The
Rainbow River is very close to our facility. If you are
a new diver, or you're not interested in cavern diving, or you
just want to spend a leisurely day in the water, we recommend
the Rainbow River. This is a drift dive in very clear water,

Cancellation Policy
We require seven (7) days notification if you wish to cancel a tour.
This is consistent with airline, car rental agency and hotel policies.
If you have
reserved a tour for a group of 10 or more, we require a 3 week
cancellation notice. We will not refund short-notice cancellations. We pre-charge all credit card reservations for the cost of the
tour.
We have always required a credit card to hold a reservation. Unfortunately, we have
had a lot of people reserve spots on a tour and then not show
up. We make a commitment to you, who often travel long
distances to get here, that you will have a seat on one of our
boats. We need the same commitment from you that you will
arrive and be on time. Otherwise, we needlessly disappoint someone
else who would have liked your space(s) on the tour and / or we pay a
Captain that we did not need.
This cancellation policy is to give us time to re-sell any seats left
vacant and helps us keep our prices reasonable for you. Thank you for understanding.
