The PADI Open Water Diver course

The PADI Open Water Diver course is, by far,
the world’s most popular scuba certification course. Millions
of people have started diving as certified PADI Open Water Divers.
Learning to scuba dive requires both knowledge development (facts,
principles, concepts) and motor procedures (skills, techniques,
methods). The PADI Open Water Diver Course online provides the knowledge
development portion you need. You develop the remaining skills by
actually diving with a PADI Instructor at Bird's Underwater Dive
Center, a PADI 5-Star Dive Center.
After enrolling, PADI’s eLearning system
presents you with interactive presentations that include videos,
audio, graphics and reading. Short quizzes let you gauge your progress,
and review and correct anything you might happen to miss. This lets
you move through the program efficiently and at your own pace.
You may complete the in-water portion of the course at the
Bird's Underwater Dive Center either while you are working on the
online course or afer you complete it.
An eLearning Record will always be available to you to print
out as you work through the online part of the course.
You will have unlimited online access to your
course for one year. Payment for eLearning is $120 U.S. via a secure
(https/SSL) payment system. This fee goes directly to PADI for the
on-line service.
The course water work at Bird's Underwater is an additional $175
plus the cost of log book & dive tables. All training equipment
is included.

include it.
